2019 Peju Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Valley
14.5% ABV

Character Profile

The stealth intoxicator. Its high ABV is disguised behind a smoooooth palate and aromas of raspberry, tobacco, raisin, vanilla, and a distinctive cola note. Definitely serve with food – my husband enjoyed it with grilled ribeye and nearly went comatose with joy.

Who Might Like This

Who wouldn’t like this?? Peju is producing some of the best Cabs and Merlots around.

Age-ability

Can drink now, but has ability to age.

Price Point

We’ve watched Peju’s prices increase over the last five years, as their wines have become more popular and demand has surged. (Their Merlot, for instance, started out at a reasonable $30 at our local wine shop and has since jumped to about $60+.)

Their reserve and flagship wines will definitely unburden you of your cash.

  • We were too busy enjoying it to properly analyze it. Whoops.
